Guide to the Pyramids et alia

By Person or Group

  • Carlyle Expedition: Dug at Giza, the Sakkara, then Dhashur. Warren Bessart claimed Dhashur as the main site for the expedition. Carlyle, Masters, Huston, and Penhew vanished from Dhashur's Bent Pyramid. There.'s also the Red Pyramid there. Nyiti's son Unba was one of the native workers. Nyiti sent Bessart to Meidum's Collapsed Pyramid, where he saw people getting ripped apart.
  • Clive Expedition: Dug at Giza, then moved to Memphis, where it's been for the last five months. At Giza, in the Menkaura pyramid, a mummy was discovered, with scrolls in a mummy. Dr. Clive claimed the scrolls were illegible and the mummy was of an Unknown Female. Jan Vanheuleuven, the drunken archaeologist who laid off, said that the scrolls were legible, at least, if one can read hieroglyphics. Some on the expedition claim that the mummy was that of Queen Nitocris, evil devotee of the Black Pharaoh. Dr. Ali Kafour believes this to be true. The mummy, scrolls, and sarcophagus were stolen. James Garner of the expedition thinks there must be a secret tunnel from the pyramid that the thieves used, leading under the Sphinx. Clive principles: Dr. Henry Clive, James Garner, Johannes Sprech, Martin Winfield (who told Vanheuleuven about the temple in Cairo), and Agatha Broadmoor (who claims to be a medium).
  • Omar Shakti: While he owns several cotton plantations, the largest of these and Shakti's home is in Gezira Mohammed, a few miles north of Cairo, along the west bank of the Nile. One of the workers on the plantation wore an inverted ankh, like the ones the British cult wore. Father O'Connor and Masha are invited to dine with him the evening before the dark of the moon.
  • Nyiti: Her son Unba was one of the workers hired by the Carlyle Expedition. They live in El Wasti, a Nile town south of Medium, easily reachable by car, steamer, and train. Nyiti warned Warren Bessart that the souls of all the Europeans except for those of Bessart and Brady were lost. She told him to go to Meidum and the Collapsed Pyramid for proof.
