On the Map Sheet

  2. Draw an arrow from a circle or diamond that you had previously added to any other circle or diamond, and label it.
  3. Any single circle that has arrows going to it from two different squares becomes a double circle. That means it's been upgraded from an Extra to a Feature. On Your Character Sheet

Pick one of: Jock, Average, Geek, Outsider, Paragon.

Jock

  1. Add a new Distinction (recommended: Agile, Athletic, or Martial Artist).
  2. Step up a Resource (an Extra or a Location).
  3. Step up a Relationship (with another Lead or a Feature), an Asset (a Distinction or Ability), or a Resource (an Extra or a Location).
  4. Go on to the Focus stage. Pick one of: Supernatural/Paranormal, Money, or Life.

Average

  1. Add or step up a Distinction (recommended: Observant, Sneaky, or Willful).
  2. Step up a Relationship (with another Lead or a Feature).
  3. Step up a Relationship (with another Lead or a Feature), an Asset (a Distinction or Ability), or a Resource (an Extra or a Location).
  4. Go on to the Focus stage. Pick one of: Status, Money, or Life.

Geek

  1. Add a new Distinction (recommended: Clever, Investigator, or Observant).
  2. Step up a Distinction.
  3. Step up a Relationship (with another Lead or a Feature), an Asset (a Distinction or Ability), or a Resource (an Extra or a Location).
