    • Distinction: Observant: d4: Add d6 to trouble to Reroll your first roll in any Contest or Test where you have been surprised, ambushed, or caught off guard.
  • Step up a Relationship (with another Lead or a Feature), an Asset (an Ability, Distinction, or Heritage), or a Resource (an Extra or a Location).
    • Step up Distinction: Observant to d6.
  • Go on to the Youth stage. Pick one of: Jock, Average, or Paragon.
    • This is an error, I believe. The book indicates Average, Geek, or Outsider, and I chose Geek.
  • What was your gift? Music? Math? Art? Science? Running at three hundred miles an hour? Poking my nose into things and finding out what was going on.
  • Did your parents lovingly nurture your gifts, or were you made to feel ashamed of what you could do? I was encouraged. This was thinking and reading and figuring things out. My parents considered all of these good things.
  • Can you remember how you first realized you were exceptional?
