Pathway
Origin: Alien/Metahuman — Boadicea is the daughter of Bella Blackwater, a retired supervillain, a palladion, one of an ancient lineage of superhumans. Bella says she's not sure who Bo's father is (hey, the '90s were a wild time). Bo isn't told about her mom's past, or where the money they live off of came from, but mom sure has a lot of books, magazine clippings, and such about metahumans.

Palladion Heritage
Ancient lineage of super-warriors. Their weakness is the mysterious metal orichalcum --- they can't break it, and they're not invulnerable to orichalcum weapons. Roll the Heritage die when trying to understand something relating to palladions, or representing them in some way, or when trying to do something new with palladion powers.
- d4: Earn a Plot Point when Abilities are Shutdown by orichalcum, or when you Choose to have lack of control over Abilities cause trouble. (I don't expect orichalcum to be as common as kryptonite was in Smallville, so I added the lack-of-control thing.)
- d8: Add a d6 to the Trouble pool to use a Special Effect from a connected Ability you don't have.
- d12: Spend a Plot Point to Reroll any die in a Test or Contest that includes one of your Ability dice.
- Connected Abilities: Super-Strength, Invulnerability, Flight, Regeneration, Healing, Energy Aura (from Watchtower Report). (Might add another Ability or two.)
- Limits: Orichalcum.
Notes: A palladion is an ancient Greek image of protection and safeguarding. Another word for it is palladium, the noble metal. (Krypton is a noble gas. Now you know where I get my ideas.) Orichalcum is a precious metal referred to in ancient writings; Plato claimed it was mined in Atlantis, and Josephus claimed that vessels in Solomon's Temple were made from it. It's said to be reddish or pinkish.
