As you may or may not recall, I am Mr. Samson Trammel's lwyer. At some point during your most recent visit to my client, he was shot in both knees, and he is unlikely to walk again.

Neither he nor I believe you to be responsible for this. However, I do not doubt that you know who is. Would you be willing to testify about this? In return, protection would be provided. Perhaps you might be so kind as to call or to visit my office.

I am aware that there are many who would not care about my client's injury or who would believe that it is no more, and, indeed, far less, than he deserves. It is my hope that, even if you are one of those, you do not believe it is just that this should happen under these circumstances. The rule of law needs to apply fully to all, deserving or not. The alternative is either anarchy or a continuation of the present, disgraceful circumstances, where those with sufficient money and power may appoint themselves any combination of judge, jury, and executioner as they deem fit.

It is my hope that this does not sit well with you, and that you will contact me.

Sincerely,

Domenick Bowers, Esq.

Dear Mr. Locksley,

As you may or may not recall, I am Mr. Samson Trammel's lwyer. At some
point during your most recent visit to my client, he was shot in both knees,
and he is unlikely to walk again.

Neither he nor I believe you to be responsible for this. However, I do not doubt
that you know who is. Would you be willing to testify about this? In return, protection
would be provided. Perhaps you might be so kind as to call or to visit my office.

I am aware that there are many who would not care about my client's injury or who
would believe that it is no more, and, indeed, far less, than he deserves. It is my
hope that, even if you are one of those, you do not believe it is just that this should
happen under these circumstances. The rule of law needs to apply fully to all,
deserving or not. The alternative is either anarchy or a continuation of the present, disgraceful circumstances, where those with sufficient money and power may appoint
themselves any combination of judge, jury, and executioner as they deem fit.

It is my hope that this does not sit well with you, and that you will contact me.

                                                                       Sincerely,

                                                                       Domenick Bowers
