Story: Boadicea is the daughter of Bella Blackwater, a retired supervillain, a palladion, one of an ancient lineage of superhumans. Bella's not sure who Bo's father is (hey, the '90s were a wild time). Bo isn't told about her mom's past, or where the money they live off of came from, but mom sure has a lot of books, magazine clippings, and such about metahumans.
