"Files" Gear
There are several Distinctions and Abilities (see Flight and Gravity Control on page 107) that let you create Useful Details at d8 instead of the usual d6 under some special circumstances. So how about letting her spend a Plot Point to Reveal useful info out of her files as a d8 Useful Detail, which she can use for the rest of the scene? The Limit is having access to her files, of course.
