Raw Dump

I make a marvelous chaperone. I don't need to sleep. What other chaperone can you say that about?

You can say it about any, but then you'd be Gregory.

Fine, I will bewitch the daqmned horses

You are by no means flying. Those horseshou\es were removed for a Good Reason.

All of us have problemqatic faqmilies -- let's not go making comparisons

My family is perfectly wonderful

So is mine, but that sodeoesnt stop it from being problematical

It's a medical condition

Do sit down. We'd like to hear your story from you. I cannot believe I am the one being sensible.

Butter wouyldnt mel in my mouth anyt more than edwina campion you don't want to be comparing yourselkf to edwina campion

She has a certain use

Like a rattlesanke

Sopme rattlesnakes can have a certain charm. I've been one or two of them.

Are you sure it wasn't the lord of the very open plains with convenient updrafts?

Only insec ts have thoraxes. It doesn't really mean that part of your body to which wings are attached. For example, this is my shoulder.

Your sense of responsibility will be the death of youquite possibly but I hope it will be the salvation of many others

Do we want to set something up or do we want to just rush in like we always do?

Apparently the new martians are better at bombs than wings

They could hardly be worse

They funciton, so they cd be worse

Are you freemasons?

No, but that's a good idea

We're Kerberana It's like freemasons but with less badges and more world threatiening dangers

And better coffee

Oh yes, we have excellent coffee

Not my cousin!

Where did that cat come from?

It's all right. He can keep up.

I have no idea how you work. Do you?

Angelina, we have things to do when we get home

Do take care of Alice

I don't see why I have a secret identity at all! Pulls off veil

Welcome to the club

My fiance is a amage

My. Condolences.

Thank you.

He really is quite a lovely man.

Story Games Dump

In Kerberos Fate, Our Heroes were off to Lake Country to investigate something. This raised the question of a chaperone.

Sophronia (the 9-inch clockwork fairy: )I make a marvelous chaperone. I don't need to sleep. What other chaperone can you say that about?

Victor: You can say it about any, but then you'd be Gregory.

Next came the question of whether the invisible flying carriage they traveled in to speed things up would or would not have horses.

Sophronia: Fine, I will bewitch the damned horses. (to the horses) You are by no means flying. Those horseshoes were removed for a Good Reason.

That reason was that fairy magic doesn't work when there's too much cold iron around.

Later, there was a discussion about families, not unusual given that one of the campaign Aspects is Family Can Be Complicated.

Reginald / Gregory: All of us have problematic families -- let's not go making comparisons.

Sophronia: My family is perfectly wonderful.

Reginald: So is mine, but that doesn't stop it from being problematic.

Later:

Sophronia: Your sense of responsibility will be the death of you.

Reginald: Quite possibly, but I hope it will be the salvation of many others.

And, Our Heroes found an ally in Sir Daniel.

Daniel: Are you freemasons?

Victor: No, but that's a good idea.

Regiald: We're Kerbereans. It's like Freemasons, but with less badges and more world threatening dangers.

Victor: And better coffee.

Sophronia (whose creator made the Kerberos Club Coffee Machine): Oh yes, we have excellent coffee!

And, we learned that this is perhaps not the best group of heroes to send on covert operations.

Sophronia: Do take care of Alice!

Alice: I don't see why I have a secret identity at all! (pulls off veil which conceals her identity, having earlier switched into the veiled lady costume when her friends blew her Other Cover Identity as a man)

Reginald (whose identity was blown by his fiance, Sophronia): Welcome to the club.
